Mixed Martial Artists and the DMSC both add adrenaline-fueled events to the Summer of Fire.

The Des Moines Social Club and the Midwest Cage Championships (MCC) are both dedicated to bringing top-notch entertainment to central Iowa.  The area’s best Mixed Martial Artists will bring their very best into the Midwest Cage Championship cage on Friday, August 3, and a different group of artists will bring similar intensity to the Simon Estes Amphitheater on August 16-17 for Fireball.

One of the athlete’s on Friday’s card is UFC  veteran Kevin “The Fire”  Burns.  DMSC sat down with Kevin to learn more about his growth as a fighter, his relationship with Des Moines, and his advice to others looking to make a life out of martial arts.
