PROGRAMMING

CoLab: The CoLab project is an annual, collaboratively written piece of theatre. We select a topic relevant to our community, and then research, write, and mount the piece.

All-Metro High School Play: Another annual project, the All-Metro Play is a summer opportunity for local high-school students to work on a student-driven production with their peers from schools around the Des Moines Area. Material selected for the All-Metro Play is intended to challenge and evoke creative thought. All tech and design positions for this production are filled by local high-school students.

Page to Stage: Page to Stage is Locust Productions’ monthly play reading series in the Sideshow Lounge. The first Wednesday of the month we present a staged reading of a new play—either brand new, an obscure old find, or something new to Des Moines. Always Free.
