Description: Des Moines Social Club is now offering a unique, once per month, vocal seminar for singers of all ages and skill levels. The seminar covers singing technique, with exercises to develop your range, pitch and tonality, as well as your overall musicianship. The group setting provides a fun, pressure free environment, where singers can fully explore their voice, with others who seek to improve their singing, and instruction from a professional singing coach.

Instructor Bio:  Kevin Drew is a professional singer and voice instructor living in Des Moines, Iowa.
As a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, he was a double major in Music and Philosophy. As a member of the Northern Iowa Concert Chorale, he has performed in New York, Washington DC, and has toured Eastern Europe with the Czech National Orchestra.
Despite his classical upbringing, Kevin’s true passion is writing music, and performing with his rock band, Marcato.
Marcato has toured the midwest for over 10 years, opening for such bands as Stone Temple Pilots, Filter, Staind, and many others.
Kevin has been giving voice lessons professionally for over 5 years, and brings a wide spectrum of knowledge to his teaching. Singers of all ages and skill levels will benefit from his background as a classical singer, and touring experience with his band.
