1920’s Charleston is the dance that helped kick off the later swing crazes of the 30s, 40s and 50s, and is an easy 8-count step to learn. It is traditionally danced to fast 1920’s music, but can also be applied to modern beats as well. In this class, participants will learn the basic step and some tricks and turns to add flair. This dance can be danced solo or with a partner and this class will explore the partner Charleston, however you DO NOT NEED a partner to participate. Come stag, with a partner, or with a group! No prior dance experience required.
