Liz de Lise / Patresa Hartman / Noremac McCarthy
Liz de Lise is a Philadelphia-based singer, songwriter and guitarist who writes alternative folk songs with jazz influences. Liz creates lush soundscapes with electric guitar, vocals, and a loop pedal.
The third of three daughters in a musical family, Patresa grew up with everything from barbershop quartets to military marches. After doing anything but music for 15 years, she purchased a piano from a thrift store and learned how to play guitar on a beat-up classical guitar her then-boyfriend salvaged from a dumpster. Patresa plays acoustic sets with original songs, and sometimes throws in some covers from a monthly Women’s Songwriters in the Round series she hosts at the Ritual Cafe in Des Moines.
“Hartman’s a clever writer, an honest story teller, and a beautiful singer. This is an album that begs to be played.”
Chad Taylor, Cityview Magazine,
“An ever-changing, all-powerful god-cast of transcendental waves. Also, Cameron.”
