Sichuan Cuisine is Chef Cass’s favorite to make at home! This is a cuisine from the Northern region in China known as the “heavenly country”. It is known for its use of the szechuan peppercorn, a unique spice that is numbing and flavorful. We will be delving into the spice profiles and traditions of this fantastic region. Come make some hand-pulled noodles and try the most unique cuisine there is!

About the Artist: Cassandra lived in New York City from 2006-2013. This is where she discovered her passion for the many different cuisines from around the world. She graduated from the Iowa Culinary Institute at DMACC in 2015. She is personal Chef for many small businesses in the Des Moines area. Her favorite cuisine to cook at home is Traditional Sichuan Cuisine from North Western China.
