Evan Olson, Program Intern
Evan Olson is a lifelong Midwesterner with a deep value for community. He’s also a crazy big of Friday Night Lights and finds it hard to believe that Coach and Tami aren’t actually real people. During his free time, you can usually find him sipping iced matcha lattes at Horizon Line Coffee and editing interviews for his site.
Anna Breese, Venue Intern
Anna is a Human Services A.A.S. student at DMACC, set to graduate in 2018. She grew up on the East side of Des Moines and now calls the South side of Des Moines home. In her free time you can find her reading, although not always finishing a book, walking her darling fur children Ozzie (Boston Terrier) and Peanut (small annoying Chihuahua thing), or looking for a fun way to stay active. She and her fiance also enjoy movies, road trips, copious amounts of spicy food, and enjoying time with their friends. Anna is interning during the Fall of 2017 in event/venue management, she is working to learn the skills to make events meaningful.
Adam Rogan, Marketing Intern
Adam Rogan is a soon-to-be graduate of Drake University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a marketing intern at the Des Moines Social Club. He does his best to ignore the carpal tunnel that he’s sure is forming in his fingers that are usually found typing away on his beloved Macbook. To mask the pain, he’s slowly destroying his eardrums with the mix of punk rock, indie-folk and emo he has within his 8,500-song Spotify library. Adam is also an expert chef when it comes to microwaving Ramen and Lean Cuisine.
Adam Williams, Booking Intern
Born and bred Iowan studying Supply Chain Management at Iowa State. When he’s not binging Netflix and Hulu with my four legged roommate, Mowgli, he is probably memorizing song lyrics. He has never been on a plane but has dreams of going to London to fulfill a lifelong goal of being British.
